The Sixth Strengthening Factor
Hello Love Cup Family🤩!
It's another beautiful Thursday and I'm so glad to write to you.Today, we're talking about the sixth strengthening factor which is Meditation.
I know you're thinking, when will the strengthening factors come to an end? It's not about to end yet, as we have several things that give us strength and keep us going.
Firstly, what is Meditation?
Beyond the devotional exercise, meditation is a careful or thorough thought. It is what you reflect on, consider and ponder. It is what you consciously give your mind to.
Let me talk a bit more about this.
What you give your mind to will eventually become a part of you.
What you consistently give your mind to will shape your outlook on life.
What you meditate on will become your mindset and the words of your mouth.
The place of your intellect is not a separate you.
In meditation, you contemplate.
In meditation, you make decisions.
In meditation, you get to see the values you uphold.
You are what you think about consistently.
Your thought process is not different from you in meditation.
Be careful about what you meditate on.
Be very intentional in meditating on what is good and acceptable.
What you think on consistently will shape your thoughts and your thought speaks more about who you are.
In your thoughts, you get to see the real you.
GOD looks at the heart, be mindful enough to fix your mind on the right things.
King David could say let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in YOUR(GOD'S) sight because what was on his mind was good and wasn't against what GOD could accept.
I am consistently cheering for you and the amazing person you are willing to become.
Kindly put to practice the good things you are learning.
This is my love cup for you this week.
See you in another fortnight.
Apostle Paul said " I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do" How then can we think on what is right and meditate on what will strengthen our Spirit?
